Quianta Moore, the executive director of The Hackett Center for Mental Health, spoke with KPRC’s Haley Hernandez about the impact of the Brain Builders program, a free, online initiative aimed at mothers to help support the brain development of their children.
“There’s a ton of research showing that this investment in the early years helps to build brain resilience so that even if later on there’s a trauma or life circumstance, they’re able to bounce back from that easier than if those strong neural connections weren’t made in a healthy way,” Moore explained.
